I’ve worked with WordPress, Drupal, Squarespace and other platforms over the years, so choosing Wix wasn’t random.  I build in Wix because it works really well for the kinds of small businesses I support. It’s flexible, easy to manage and allows clients to update things themselves without relying on a developer for every little change. For my multi-page sites, I also include a personalised walkthrough video after launch because I want clients to feel confident managing their website themselves, not stuck or reliant on someone else for every little change. Do I think Wix is right for every business? No. But for many small businesses, service providers and founders, it’s practical, flexible, scalable and makes life a lot easier

You don’t need to arrive with perfectly polished website copy 😅 Most clients send a mix of: messy notes old website copy bullet points half-formed thoughts content from brochures or social media answers to questions I send over That’s completely fine. A big part of what I do is helping shape and structure your messaging so it feels clearer, more confident and more aligned with your business. I also record our discovery calls because hearing how you naturally talk about your business helps me understand your voice, your personality and the passion behind what you do. Often the clearest messaging comes from conversation, not from sitting staring at a blank page trying to “write website copy.” I’ll ask lots of questions throughout the process to help me properly understand your business, positioning and the people you want to attract. After booking, I’ll also send you a simple content form to complete. It’s not about writing the final copy perfectly. It’s simply there to help me gather as much information as possible so I can then shape and write the website copy for you.

Most websites take somewhere between 3–8 weeks depending on the size of the project. A lot of the timeline depends on: how quickly feedback is shared how quickly content and images are sent over how many pages or features are involved I work quite quickly once I have everything I need, but the smoothest projects are usually the ones where communication and feedback stay fairly consistent throughout the process.

Payment is split into two stages: 50% upfront to secure your project 50% once the website is complete or one month after the full website has been delivered This helps keep projects moving smoothly and fairly for both sides.

There are a couple of ways this can work. Some clients choose to be the website owner with me added as a co-owner so I can support with edits and updates when needed. Others prefer me to remain the owner with them added as co-owner. Either way, you will always have access to your website and can adjust permissions whenever you like.

You’ll receive a personalised walkthrough video and a short period of post-launch support for any final tweaks or questions. You can also continue working with me through ongoing Flex Support if you’d like regular help with updates, SEO, strategy or marketing.

I don’t really work in rigid “revision rounds” like many other web designers. I want you to genuinely love your website, so we’ll refine and adjust things together throughout the build process until it feels right. The only thing I ask is that feedback is shared in a reasonably timely way so the project keeps moving forward smoothly. I will send you a link so that you can add comments directly to the page so that everything is in one place, but we can always jump on a quick call to talk things through. If feedback becomes significantly delayed, the final invoice will be sent 30 days after the completed website has been delivered. This rarely happens and doesn’t mean we stop working once the invoice is paid, but I’ve had projects run on for 6 months because of busy client, which I’d like to avoid.

You will have no ongoing costs directly with me. After launch what you will have is: your Wix subscription (covers hosting, maintenance and security.) your domain renewal costs Wix plans start from around £9 + VAT per month for websites that are not taking payments online.
